Industrial Training Institutes (ITI’s) are post-secondary schools in India constituted under Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET) provides training in both technical and non-technical trades with over 130 trades like Plumber, Fitter, electrician, AC & refrigeration mechanic, cutting tailoring , computer operator etc. The mandatory conditions are age up to 14 years and basic qualification which is matriculation. Timings ranges are 6 months to 2 years.

The city has 2 Govt. ITI’s and 1 Private ITI’s. In Uttar Pradesh, Vyavasayik Pareeksha Parishad (www.vppup.in) is responsible for organizing the entrance examination for admission in different trade courses in State ITI’s.
